Remember the Macy's window pushing Boston Pride last June? MassResistance brought public attention to that corporate promotion, and brought such pressure on the company that it removed the offensive breasted mannequins from the window display. Unfortunately, Macy's made the poor decision to leave the text part of the display promoting Pride Week.
Now what exactly was Macy's promoting? Here's one example of where our photos from the Boston Pride parade led us: Manhunt.net. Their float mimicking the Macy's mannequins also piqued our curiosity. Should what's on Manhunt's site be celebrated on the streets of Boston -- or should it go back into the closet? Judge for yourself from these phrases we picked up from their web site tour.
